Claire Danes Honored as Hasty’s 2012 Woman of the Year
Each year a lucky lady is picked to receive the honor, and this time around Claire Danes was doted with Hasty Pudding’s 2012 Woman of the Year title.
The Golden Globe winning actress took to the campus of Harvard University to join in on an elaborate parade and Pudding Pot ceremony through the streets of Boston.
As for picking Miss Danes as the winner of the award, a mission statement noted that she “has made an indelible mark on the world of entertainment, in both drama and comedy.”
Meanwhile, actor Jason Segel will be making his way to Havard next week (February 3) to undergo the same ceremony as the 2012 Hasty Pudding’s Man of the Year.

NBC Considering an ‘Office’ Spin-Off for Rainn Wilson
The Office (Thursdays, at 9 p.m. ET on NBC) may be losing another employee. First Michael (Steve Carell) hopped a plane for Colorado, and today comes news that Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) might be the next to leave the building. According to Deadline.com, producers are developing a spin-off for Dunder Mifflin’s most successful paper salesman. Ashton Kutcher in Men’s Health: I Won’t Change!
Kim Kardashian and Ashton Kutcher really need to work on their timing.
Both recent divorcees are featured in the December issues of magazines, spouting ironic statements about life and love. In Marie Claire, gushes over her marriage to Kris Humphries. And now in Men’s Health, Kutcher talks about relationships in general.
“I could never be with a woman who felt like she needed to change me,” says the now-single actor, adding: “The goal is not to get into a relationship; the goal is to be in a relationship.”
Kutcher does admit to one fault, at least, although it had nothing to do with his philandering ways.
“I would just like a woman someday, somewhere, at some point in my life to say to me, ‘You’re a great listener,’” he says. “Haven’t heard it yet, and that’s a superior compliment to get from a woman. But I’m going to work on it.”

‘Breaking Dawn’ Fans Travel Cross-Country For Midnight Premiere
‘We came all the way from North Dakota to come to a New York premiere of ‘Twilight,’ fan John Myhre says.

Everyone knew that the premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ would be an emotional journey for fans of the vampire movies, but for some at the midnight premiere Thursday night in New York City, it was a literal journey across the country.
“We came all the way from North Dakota to come to a New York premiere of ‘Twilight,’ ” die-hard fan John Myhre said.
John wasn’t the only fan who traveled from afar to see the film. Another group of fans came from Texas just to see “Breaking Dawn” at midnight, before everyone else.
For one fan, the hype could not properly prepare her for the film, which went beyond what she was expecting. “I thought it was great. It was the best thing ever. It totally exceeded my expectations,” she said. So everyone loved it, but what was the best part? The movie boasts three major moments — the wedding, the honeymoon and the birth — and fans were split on which they loved the most.
“The love scene was beautiful. You would love it,” one fan said. Susan Dolan saw similarities to her own life in “Breaking Dawn.” “Charlie was walking Bella down the aisle. I was like, ‘That’s totally my dad,’ ” she said. Dante Delva went a different route and chose a key scene between Jacob and his pack. “My favorite part of the movie has to be when Jacob stood up to Sam. Even though you have the authority, I have the free will to do whatever I want,” he said.
Several fans said that one showing was not nearly enough for them. “I actually have tickets to three more showings, so I’ll be back,” Alanna Foxx said.
We all still have one more “Twilight” installment to go, and the Twi-hards will be there to the bitter end. “I am looking forward to seeing ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2.’ I will be at the midnight premiere again,” Carla Suarez said.
